CLEAN AND SAFE STUMP GRINDING
we take safety and cleanliness very seriously at Stumpectomy, as it is just as important to us as the work being done itself. Prior to grinding, we remove visible rocks and plants from the location and we always make sure to have all of the proper safety measures in place. If necessary, Stumpectomy also coordinates with Digsafe prior to the job to ensure safety guidelines are followed.
Making sure all pets and kids are inside with adult supervision before beginning on a job site is an absolute priority. We always make sure that any rocks or other objects are removed from the job site area, as these can become dangerous projectiles if they are hit at the wrong angle. We also search for buried debris or any pieces of metal to remove that may pose as a safety hazard. If needed, we'll place barriers around the work area to catch any potential debris. Customers will also be asked about any underground obstructions that may pose as an issue during work, this can include but is not limited too: Electrical Utilities/gas pipes/sprinkler lines. Although we do have the experience and knowledge to "eye-ball" it, we believe that a complete and thorough preliminary examination of the job site is the safest process to follow.
